What are the benefits of Palo Santo wood sticks?

Palo Santo is used therapeutically and spirituality for purification, energy and space cleansing, depression, anxiety, and other ailments. A few benefits include, deeper connection with earth or the divine, emotional healing, removal of negative energy, clarification and calming of mind. 

Where does Palo Santo come from?

Palo Santo also know as Bursera Graveolens, is a wild plant that grows into a tree native in South America. The tree branches are cut and harvested into wood stick and used for spiritual and traditional purposes. 

Is the smoke bad for me to breathe in?

Avoid directly inhealing the smoke. Burn in a open space that allows for air circulation.

How do I burn my Palo Santo stick?

1. Light a palo santo stick with a candle, lighter, or match.
2. Hold the stick downward at a 45-degree angle.
3. Let the stick burn for 30 seconds.
4. Wave out the flame. Place the stick in a heatproof dish to let it burn.

What does it mean when Palo Santo won't stay lit?

This is probably due to not lighting the Palo Santo stick long enough, see above for instructions.
